Maple City Bowl reopened in September of 2004 after being purchased by three local businessmen (Matt Testani, Rich Argentieri, and Bill Scheiwer Jr.). The bowling center was reopened with 32 lanes state of the art bowling equipment and 82-70-Pinsetters (AMF).

The snack bar, pro shop and bar were also remodeled to better serve our customers. Our goal is to provide quality family entertainment in a clean safe environment.

We offer specials almost continuously at different times of the day and night to accommodate all different ages and budgets. We are working hard to bring the sport of bowling back to the popularity it had in the Hornell area in the 70s and 80s.

The bowling center is managed by Jim Testani who “Retired” from Wegmans food markets in 2004 after 23 years – of which 21 was spent on the management team. Wegmans is one of the most respected businesses in the United States.
